What is Youtube Views mean?

YouTube engagement metrics (views, likes, dislikes, and subscriptions) reflect how many times a video or channel has been interacted with. These metrics can be an important measure of your video or channel’s overall popularity.

We want to make sure that your metrics are high quality and come from actual humans and not computer programs. It takes our systems some time to figure out which views, likes, dislikes, and subscriptions are legitimate.

Note: It may take time for your metrics to appear in our system during the first few hours your video is published.


Change in metrics

After legitimate engagement events are counted, your metric count should update more often.  The timing of these changes varies depending on a video or channel's popularity and viewership. Keep in mind that we're constantly validating and adjusting engagement events.

On some videos and channels, your metric count might seem frozen or not show the metrics that you expect. Metrics  are algorithmically confirmed to maintain fair and positive experiences for content creators, advertisers, and viewers. To verify that metrics  are accurate, YouTube may temporarily slow down, freeze, or change your metric count, and discard low-quality playbacks.

Note: Using multiple devices to watch the same video and streaming the same video across multiple windows and tabs are examples of low-quality playbacks.

Hindi lahat ng views na makikita natin sa ating videos ay acceptable ni Youtube. Maaaring mayrong pumasok na mula sa invalid traffic. Kaya mapapansin natin na nababawasan ang ating mga views after several hours, lalo na sa Live Streaming videos. May dalawang uri ng views ang papasok sa ating mga videos.

1. Real - mula sa real human views. Ito yong views na masasabi nating unique at possibly from different legit IP's.

2. Fake - computer programs at iba pang ginagamit na pang manipulate sa system ni Youtube.

 

What is impression mean?

An impression is counted when a video thumbnail is shown to someone on YouTube. Impressions are only counted if the thumbnail is shown for more than one second and at least 50% of the thumbnail is visible on the screen.

Additionally, impressions are only counted when your thumbnail is shown in certain places. For example, impressions are counted when your thumbnail appears in YouTube search results, but not when your thumbnail is shown on a different website. See details on where impressions are counted below.

Impressions and how they led to watch time

The “Impressions and how they led to watch time” report will give you a visual of how your thumbnail’s impressions led to views and watch time. You may also see what percentage of your impressions came from YouTube recommending your videos to viewers.

Note: You may see a difference in metrics between the key metrics card and the “Impressions and how they led to watch time” report. This is because the data in the key metrics card is updated more often, and offers more up-to-date data.

Impressions are counted
  • Search results
  • YouTube Home page
  • YouTube feeds (subscriptions, trending, history, watch later)
  • "Up Next" recommendations on the right side of the video player (includes autoplay)
  • Videos in playlists

Impressions are not counted

  • External websites and apps (i.e., links and embeds outside of youtube.com)
  • YouTube mobile website
  • Videos on YouTube TV,  YouTube Kids, YouTube Music, and YouTube Gaming apps
  • Content within the video player (i.e., in cards, or end screens)
  • Videos in email or push notifications
  • Videos that play in the background tab (no visible impression)
  • Videos whose thumbnails are less than 50% visible and/or visible for less than one second
  • TrueView video discovery ads


Sa puntong ito, kailangan nating pagandahin ang ating thumbnail dahil maaari itong maging dahilan upang ang iyong impression will turn into watch hour. Kung pipindutin nila ang iyong thumbnail, at pinapanood nila ang iyong videos, siguradong mag run agad ang iyong watch hour kapag lumagpas na ito ng 1 second ang panood nila.

Malaking bagay din ang thumbnail sa ating mga content kaya gawin nating attractive ang ating mga tumbnail at of course related ito sa ating content.

Pagdating sa revenue, it is based sa dami ng ads na napanood ng iyong mga viewers. The longer na manatili sila sa iyong videos, the more ads ang mapapanood nila. More ads means more revenue.
